Your Light Ring may move between manholes during a shift. Check the rim, seating and working clearance each time you position it. A fit at the previous manhole does not establish a fit at the next one.
Check the size range and seating
Our standard Light Ring has a 22- to 30-inch clear-opening range. Our XL has a 24- to 38-inch range. Follow the supplied instructions for seating and permitted use; diameter alone is not a complete fit check.
Check your hose or cable path
Our removable roller supports jet hose or CCTV cable across the rim. Check clearance for the equipment you are feeding. Use the cleat for an equipment rope only; keep personnel and rescue lines off the cleat and roller.
Check the lights, power and cover
Our standard model has four LED modules; XL has six. Follow your model’s battery requirements and check the view needed for your work. Position and lock the hinged cover according to the instructions. Do not stand on it or use the assembly as a guardrail or fall-arrest system.
Keep the guarding, traffic controls, atmospheric precautions and entry procedures your employer requires. Our equipment does not replace those controls.
